Leadership Columbus Announces Newest Board Members

(COLUMBUS, OH) Leadership Columbus is pleased announce five new members to its Board of Trustees.  The following members will serve a 3-year term: Mark Bobo, Ohio School Board Association; Jeanetta Darno, UC Health; Amber Debarr, OhioHealth; Adam McCampbell, Relevant Workplace; and Ryan Wilkins, Ronald McDonald House.

“Mark, Jeanetta, Amber, Adam, and Ryan bring a strong set of diverse personal and professional experience to our board.  They represent careers and organizations that are critically important to our mission and are going to add valuable insight to our strategy moving forward,” said Board Chair, Eddie Pauline.

According to new board member Jeanetta Darno, who serves as VP & Chief Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Officer at UC Health: “I’m honored to have the opportunity to serve on its board of trustees.  Leadership Columbus strategically invests in leadership capacity.  It provides leadership development opportunities that equip leaders on how to listen, learn and lead inclusively across differences which is critically important right now.  It is an impact that goes beyond the City of Columbus and I wholeheartedly embrace its mission and look forward to furthering our important efforts.”  Jeanetta is the first Board Member appointed who does not reside in Central Ohio.

“The Board of Trustees and I are confident that the addition of these newest board members will bring a fresh perspective to our organization, which has recently expanded to offer programs for leaders at every level,” said Executive Director, Shannon Lee.  “Leadership Columbus has always been on a mission of equipping the city’s future trustees. Our vision for growth includes creating a continuum of learning and development experiences that begins in high school and continues pre-retirement.”

The new trustee’s terms will begin in January.
