Nonprofit Board Governance Training
Join us for a Nonprofit Board Governance Training, a program of the Leadership Columbus Impact Lab, designed to equip board members and organizational leaders with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to excel in nonprofit governance. This full-day, interactive workshop builds understanding of board roles, fiduciary responsibilities, and leadership strategies that strengthen organizational sustainability and mission impact. Open to those who are new to board service or current board members seeking to enhance their knowledge.
Participants will:
- Understand nonprofit board members roles and responsibilities.
- Strengthen financial literacy and understanding of fiduciary responsibility.
- Recognize the board’s role in fundraising and sustaining the organization’s financial health.
- Explore governance models and leadership techniques for effective board service.
- Learn practical strategies to promote accountability, inclusivity, and mission-driven leadership.
Cost: $20, covers the cost of lunch.
*To ensure as many organizations as possible have the opportunity to participate, we ask that no more than four representatives from any one organization register.
